Cheerio community,    For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, we may be experiencing the subtle changes that spring brings about— the blooming of flowers, the warmer weather, and the feeling of newness overall.    As Joe Lubin opined in his keynote speech at Paris Blockchain Week, “We are living at the onset of another paradigm shift, that will drive a transformation of how trust and authority operate on the planet.”   The month of March set us up for quite a season…   We improved load times and UX on MetaMask Mobile, added more privacy opt-in settings on MetaMask Extension, collaborated with MoonPay to enable instant bank transfers in Nigeria (Gbedu just dey start ), built a kickass customer support tool with MetaMask Activity, went full throttle supporting web3 gaming with MetaMask SDK, had great chats with the Defiant and Mousebelt, and became compatible with SIWE (EIP-4351 aka Sign In With Ethereum).   Told you we were a’springing.     Buckle up for a busy season, we’re excited to keep growing and shifting paradigms with you.

We hope you enjoy the new experience!   ConsenSys and MoonPay Join Forces to Empower Nigerian Users With Easy Access to Crypto Directly in MetaMask MetaMask and MoonPay have expanded their offering in Nigeria, enabling Nigerian users to purchase crypto via instant bank transfers within the MetaMask mobile and Portfolio Dapp. Nigeria is among MetaMask’s top markets globally, ranking third in mobile active users. It is also among the top ten countries regarding visitors to metamask.io over the last month. An estimated 90% of credit/debit card attempts to buy crypto in Nigeria are declined. Integrating MoonPay into MetaMask will make it easier for Nigerian users to obtain tokens more efficiently without setting up a crypto exchange account.
